A Festival of Authentic Flavors
sophisticated • authentic • seasonal • flavorful • hand – crafted
Mexican Festival opened in 2013 as a local neighborhood place, inspired by the flavors of the owner’s native State of Puebla, Mexico. Puebla is one of the culinary capitals of Mexico, where some of the most recognized recipes of Mexican cuisine were created, such as the traditional mole poblano. Two years later, in collaboration with one of New York’s most celebrated Mexican chefs, it reinvented itself with a completely new authentic, seasonal menu and contemporary décor.
The main concept behind the restaurant was inspired by the traditional, hand-crafted street food cooked on a comal in Mexican streets and markets. The Appetizer menu brings an innovative, local twist to what could be called Mexican tapas or antojitos. Its new lunch, dinner and brunch menus take authentic Mexican ingredients to a new level by adding a touch of refined contemporary Mexican cuisine, while keeping its authenticity and sourcing local and sustainable ingredients. Tortillas, salsas and mole are all made fresh, in-house and guacamole is made-to- order, table side, with seasonal toppings, such as pomegranate, mango and pineapple. Our menus are well priced, yet created for food lovers, with attention to fine ingredients and local, yet authentic and sustainable sources.
With its great space, a new refined, yet colorful décor, Mexican Festival is the perfect place for celebrating a “private festival”, an occasion, a birthday or that special event. Please inquire about or private events and catering service.
